Dedicado a mi tercera hermana / Dedicated to my third sister

With the song "Rosas" by La Oreja de Van Gogh in the background, we can see a boy and a girl in a friendly attitude who are sit watching the Sun hiding behind the sea, in silence. Nobody would think there is something special in this scene, nobody thinks that there is something special in any shot of the million life movies that walk by, but there always something because we are talking about hearts that feel and beat (yes, in this order). In the eyes of these two persons one can read a past full of "coincidences" that has taken them to the present moment. Today I want to read you what can be found in her eyes...

She's an angel with a big heart that has many scars for diverse circumstances which happened in her life. Those scars bleed often, still; everyday, this heart asks the sky "why" without asking her heart, who decided not to heal yet. This heart we try to get to discover has gone through many difficult situations, it has shrunk and has missed a few beats.

The boy by her side knows very well her heart because, despite their not being a couple, their hearts are very similar, very close. Each second they spend watching the dusk, with a music which they cannot listen to but paints each moment of their lives, is a second full of magic, of something special. Of something so special that few people (but more than what one may think) have lived.

Today, the boy has taken her to the beach because he wants to tell her something that only the Sun can teach directly to the hearts. He wants his best friend to see herself reflected on the Sun at the single moment in which it can be seen because it is at the height of human beings. Today, the boy wants to show her that she can go as high as our star and shine as bright as it. Today, the boy wants to go through her skin and heal her wounds...but, in order to do so, he needs that she accepts the medicine that cure these wounds.

Signed:

The boy

Postscript: please, Sun, help me.

I dont know exaclty how I stumbled upon your site, but when I finished reading this blog I knew I had to comment.

I am not familiar with this blogger.com site and I dont have an account, but I still want to ask you a question about what you wrote here....I know your poem or dedication is mostly metaphorical, but What is that medicine the boy is offering in order to cure her wounds?, is it his Love?

Hi! I'm the blogmaster and you're very welcome here. Thank you for commenting!

His/my medicine is simple, it's love, yes, but not any love, it's a friend's unconditional love, and it is something else that is inside of that love that I'll tell to any of you that are that interested to send me an email and asking that to me.

My email is shinjuku_ko@hotmail.com . See you all! ;)
